We are a select group of students in the Master of Architecture program
at RIT, committed to a better future for the built environment, a stronger
connection to the community of Rochester, and a strong legacy of
current and future students of the RIT master of architecture program.

RIT AIAS seeks to enrich the educational experience of RIT Architecture
students and the RIT student body by bridging the gap between
student experience and professional leadership, as well an appreciation
for the built environment and sustainable initiatives. It serves its
student members by funding conference attendance, promoting
professional development with a variety of events, discussions, and
workshops, and encouraging community involvement.

AIGA is the American Institute of Graphic Arts and is the largest and oldest membership organization in the world for designers. We work in forwarding design culture and thought and helping professionals find work and connect with each other across the wide world of design. We at RIT’s AIGA student chapter want to do a similar service for you all in the RIT student body; bringing in speakers, creating networking events, and doing all manner of things to connect RIT design students and other creatives with each other, professors, and professional designers. We want to create a closer creative community here on campus and help them go off into the professional world. Our club will be a mock trial team that will compete in both invitational an regional tournaments sanctioned by the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA). We will compete in tournaments mostly in New York state, but as we develop as a team, be may compete in national competitions. Our year will consist of planning our case theory in the early fall with some competitions near the end of the semester, as well as competitions in the spring semester as well.
